FrenchAussies 5 Star Pet/House Sitting in Europe

We are travelling around Europe for the next couple of years

We are a French / Australian young retired couple. Catherine is originally from France and is a dual French/Australian citizen. Catherine speaks fluent French, English and basic German. Wayne was born in Australia and speaks English and is learning French. So together we are the FrenchAussies. We are quiet, non-smokers, reliable, clean, tidy and trustworthy. We have been pet and house sitting since 2017. We have over 40 excellent references. Please have a look at our photos & references.  We travel around in our camping van. So, we need somewhere to park it when we house sit. Our van is 7 meters long, 2.05 meters wide and 2.60 meters high.

The countries we have done house sitting in so far are: Australia, New Zealand, United Arab Emirates, France, Switzerland and Austria.

We consider all house sitting positions, but we prefer quiet locations, a clean and comfortable home, with room for our van.

We have owned and cared for various types of animals and properties in the past. House sitting provides us with the opportunity to mix our love for animals, travelling and exploring the outdoors. We have individually and together owned a number of pets through our lives. We have also minded a variety of fury friends. Owning and looking after pets is extremely rewarding. We love their different temperament. They make us laugh and keep us on our toes. They are naturally drawn to us and we love how they continually show their love and appreciation, at being well looked after.

We are financially secure as we own properties. We are aslo extremely house proud. When we pet and house sit, we go above and beyond what is required and have demonstrated this in our previous house sits. Now that we are retired, we travel as often as we can. This unfortunately means that owning pets of our own is difficult, so we get to continue to reap the rewards of interacting with animals through house sitting.

We enjoy the outdoors, discovering and exploring different places, history, concerts/shows, experiencing local cuisines and produce. House sitting takes us to locations that we would not have necessarily considered exploring on our travels. It also gives us a chance to interact with people from different backgrounds and cultures.
