Everyone can feel extremely lucky if Catherine and Wayne come to your house as housesitters! They have cared for our cat Lilly wonderfully and left the house absolutely spotless. We received daily fotos and updates of our cat and house. As very experienced housesitters they even helped us (very recent members) so much, gave us tips and helped us optimise our guide.

This was our first experience having anyone sit at our house, and we feel so lucky to have had Catherine and Wayne apply for and accept the sit. They were very patient with our concerns as newbies, which we appreciated as we get used to the process. Everything from our first contact with them via video to meeting them in person for handover the evening before to the actual time we were on vacation was picture perfect.

Communication was excellent before and during the sit. After a lovely, stress-free 10-day vacation, we came back to a house cleaner than we left it—with cats and chickens totally unfazed by our absence. Catherine even gave us tips on how to use ice cubes to water our neglected house plant. What more could we ask for?

Catherine and Wayne were excellent sitters. I cannot recommend them enough! From the first phone call I knew they would be perfect. When they arrived the cats responded very well to them and you could tell they were animal lovers. Throughout the stay they were very communicative and sent lots of updates. The house was spotless when I arrived back home they took excellent care of everything. The cats will miss them very much. Catherine & Wayne were unbelievable! From our very first video call, I knew I would feel at ease with them looking after Rocco, I mean their past reviews speak for themselves! Nothing was too much for them at all. This is the only second time I have only used Trusted Housesitters so I tried to cover everything off in the welcome guide, but if Catherine/Wayne had any questions, they would simply drop me a message.

They came to our house the night before we flew to the UK so they could meet Rocco, go through his medication and help with any house quirks. They were honestly so self-sufficient it was like a breath of fresh air. Whilst we were away, they kept me updated with messages and photos of Rocco. I not once felt worried or anxious about Rocco. I always dread leaving him and miss him if we go away but I didn’t feel that awful feeling I usually get, knowing Catherine and Wayne would walk, feed and play with Rocco like he was their own.

I would not think twice if they were ever considering coming back to the UAE to look after Rocco again. We do have a cleaner once a week but they went ahead and washed the bedding/towels and tidied up (THANK YOU!). Even the day they left, they put Rocco’s medication in his food bowl and put it in the fridge so our neighbour could quickly pop in and put it down for him. They just thought of everything!

Genuinely, I couldn’t have met a nicer couple. Thank you both so so much, I am sure Rocco misses you guys already. We wish you all the best for your move to France x

Catherine & Wayne were the perfect Pet & House sitters. They fitted very well with our community and everyone enjoyed their friendliness. They looked after my two little dogs extremely well and did all the necessary brushing, washing, grooming etc. Our house was also very well looked after and in a spotless condition.

"I can't begin to express just how excellent Catherine & Wayne were at caring for our home & our fur kids for our much needed week away. Communication was really good and as this was our first 'house sit' experience their considerable experience was really great as they helped us to understand what was the 'norm' for how it all works!

Our 3 dogs were treated to lots of play and cuddles - in fact much more than we are ever able to give them! We came back to a totally spotless home and Catherine had even tackled a spring clean of my kitchen island which truly made my heart sing as a very busy person who loves a clean space ...... I absolutely recommend this couple as trustworthy, respectful and great fun to have around.

We will be actively seeking their services again if they are free to help us. Thank you C&W you TOTALLY made our time out as relaxing and stress-free as we needed it to be."

Prior to the sit as they were in the area, they made the effort to drop in and meet us twice and to see the house and garden. They were excellent to communicate with sending messages to keep us up to date with maintenance issues, what mail had arrived, on wine deliveries we sent home and general check-ins to ensure we were enjoying our trip.

"Catherine and Wayne house-sat for us for a month over christmas and were excellent! They go above and beyond what is required.

It was our first time using house sitters so we were really nervous about leaving everything in the hands of strangers. They reassured us with a Skype call, additional references and police check report. While we were away they sent regular updates with stories and pictures of the girls (chickens) having treats and daily medication.

They were considerate and understanding of our return home, and we were astonished by how incredibly tidy and clean they had left the house. We certainly had not been expecting a mess, but it was immaculate. The garden had been well tended, and the girls were relaxed, happy and healthy.

We couldn't have wished for a better outcome. We would unreservedly recommend Catherine and Wayne."

"Catherine and Wayne had done such a wonderful job housesitting for us previously that we asked them to do so again for just under a month. We came home to an immaculate house and yard and two very happy pets. Our dog Oscar got an eye infection during their stay and they took him to the vet and diligently applied the eye ointment. We also had storms while we were away and they took great care of our dogs who get stressed when storms are occurring. Catherine and Wayne also took care of some large branches that fell from a tree, cutting them up and moving them into a neat pile in the yard.

There was nothing they couldn't manage! We highly recommend Wayne and Catherine to any potential housesitter they are first class."

From our first chat with them, we instantly knew that Chloe (our chatty and somewhat quirky Siamese cat); our resident wild wallabies; the orphan possums in our care and our home were going to be very well cared for - and we were not disappointed.

Catherine & Wayne met with us in person before we left on our holiday and they took great care to understand all our instructions and requests. They instantly made us feel confident that we had made the right decision about selecting them as our house sitters. Chloe took to both Catherine & Wayne straight away and we got a lovely video of her thoroughly enjoying a belly rub from Wayne... and she only allows people she totally trusts to give her those :)

We received just the right amount of updates and we had a relaxing holiday knowing that all was well on the home front. We came home to a very relaxed and happy cat; a spotless home; the pool had been cleaned, and we received a gorgeous gift & card from Catherine & Wayne to welcome us home :) The wildlife had also clearly been cared for :)
